Council Brewing/QUAFF

Jeff started homebrewing in 2007 as an engineering student at Cal Poly. After tasting Rodenbach while on a bike ride in Belgium in 2009, he began to focus on creating sour/wild beer. His brewing experiments have been written about on the Bikes, Beers, and Adventures blog. Jeff transitioned to the professional side when fellow QUAFF members Liz and Curtis Chism opened Council Brewing in San Diego and asked him to become the barrel program director (aka “Wild Man”).
