Shawn McBride has been an AHA member for several years and has been an avid homebrewer since 1998. He is currently the VP of education for Carolina Brewmasters, a homebrew club celebrating their 30th anniversary in Charlotte. Shawn began brewing in San Diego County before moving to North Carolina in 2008. He is an avid yeast rancher who enjoys the geekier, scientific side of homebrewing.
