Phil is an award-winning homebrewer and current South Regional Rep and Vice President of the BJCP. He has written for and been featured in numerous beer publications. Additionally he has literally tasted and brewed beer around the world. A presentation at last year’s AHA conference in Michigan gave him the idea to explore whether the choice of fermenter would influence the finished beer.
