Dan Schreffler has been homebrewing beer, meads and ciders for five years, and has brewed more than 100 batches. After hooking up with the Wyoming Valley Homebrewers and correcting a lot of his mistakes, Dan has made a number of award winning beers, including a Best of Show entry at the National Organic Homebrew Competition and the first-ever Homebrewer of the Year award from the Wyoming Valley Club. Besides actually brewing, Dan regularly presents beer and mead making talks at local homebrew clubs and beer festivals and is studying for the BJCP. He is the prior chair of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Sierra Club and usually can be seen wearing hiking boots.
