Berniece Van Der Berg, a recently naturalized U.S. citizen originally from South Africa, lives with her partner Michael Fairbrother and their dog Samuel Adams. They own and operate Moonlight Meadery in Londonderry, N.H. As VP of sales and marketing, it is Berniece’s job to promote the company and the current 66+ varieties of mead/honeywine that they produce. Mead is Berniece and Michael’s passion and they delight in traveling around the country promoting the diversity and delights of this unique category. Moonlight currently makes the most registered varieties of mead worldwide and continues to rapidly expand their U.S. markets.
