Tom Schmidlin is a long-time homebrewer who has gone through several iterations of serving options at home. He also designed and installed the draft systems for all three locations of Bluebird Microcreamery and Brewery in Seattle, where he is the head brewer. He is a member of the AHA Governing Committee and the Mt. Si Homebrewers. His real job (for now) is in the department of bioengineering at the University of Washington, where he studies protein misfolding diseases.
