AleSmith Brewing Company
Peter Zien is owner of AleSmith Brewing Company in San Diego and holds a B.A. in political science and a J.D. from UC San Diego. Prior to owning AleSmith, Peter was an award-winning homebrewer and president of the local homebrew club QUAFF. AleSmith Brewing Company has garnered some of the brewing industry’s highest awards, including 17 Great American Beer Festival® medals, 10 World Beer Cup® awards, and its highest honor as the Brewery of the Year and Brewer of the Year at the 2008 Great American Beer Festival®.
