Mike Mullins has been an avid homebrewer for 13 years and started the Lapeer Area Brewers brew club several years ago with some friends, which has since become a popular brewing club in Michigan. Four years ago, he began beekeeping at the urging of a beekeeping friend. He has used his honey for making beer and meads as well as cysers. Mike recently retired from his steady job and plans on devoting even more time to his various hobbies, which include beekeeping, brewing, meadmaking and playing the banjo.
