Jeff Carlson is a four-time AHA Cidermaker of the Year, and swept the Standard Cider Category in 2006. Jeff is a lifelong resident of the Mitten State and has lived in Grand Rapids for some 34 years. He began Mashing in Michigan back in the late 80s, and took up cidermaking in 1993. Jeff is a member of Grand Rapids’ first homebrew club, the Primetime Brewers, and has served as it’s president, VP and currently as treasurer. Jeff also sits on the board of the Great Lakes Cider and Perry Association as its secretary, and has served as lead registrar for the Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition for seven years.
