Jason Salas had been head brewer at New Holland Brewing Company since 2011. He started with New Holland in 2007 as a tour guide and within a couple of months was given a position in the brewhouse. At that time the staff rotated brewing, cellar work and filtration, and packaged together with all hands on deck. In 2009, Jason was promoted to cellar master; within two years he was transferred to the brewhouse and became head brewer. In the last three years, Jason has been working closely with local hop growers so that New Holland can continue to support local agriculture by sourcing locally. Jason is currently working toward his IBD diploma.
