Jacob McKean is the founder/CEO of Modern Times Beer, a 30 barrel production brewery and tasting room in San Diego. Before going pro, Jacob was a long-time homebrewer obsessed with experimentation, brewing as much as once a week in his maniacal pursuit of beer knowledge. Modern Times is an open source brewery, publishing its beer recipes for homebrewers to tinker with to their hearts’ content.
