Bruce Buerger is a BJCP National and Mead Judge and a member of the BJCP Cider Exam Committee. He has coordinated several competitions of various sizes including Midwinter (four years, 800 entries), NHC First Round (one year, 750 entries), German Fest Stein Challenge (three years, 250 entries), MCAB Championship (one year, 150 entries), and Schnapp Hans Cup (one year, 100 entries). He is a former treasurer of the Beer Barons of Milwaukee and assists with the Barons’ BJCP judge training program.
