Bret Kollmann Baker is a chemical engineer currently with Cargill, Inc. He has a history of working with yeast and fermentation R&D for Cargill, has a certificate in brewing science and technology from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling, is a BJCP certified beer judge and has been an avid homebrewer for over a decade. Immediately after the AHA National Hombrewers Conference, Bret will depart on a six-month journey hiking the Appalachian Trail with his beautiful wife.
