Amahl Turczyn is a beer enthusiast, traveler, journalist and homebrewer who lives in Lafayette, Colo. He is a former craft brewer at Oasis Brewery in Boulder, Colo., and Wolf Tongue Brewery in Nederland, Colo. He works as a copyeditor for Brewers Publications and is currently associate editor for Zymurgy and The New Brewer magazines. He has two children, two beehives, one cider press and five refrigerators.
